Huki clockwork rally car 1950s
Further details about this childrens toy rally car
Not a manufacturer I've come across before, but this Huki rally car is a nice little thing I think. There are no markings on the base, although 'Made in US Zone Germany' does appear low down on the driver's door. The car is also badged as Huki so I'm guess that this is the make? The construction is very simple, with the driver and co-driver simply being formed as part of the car and picked out in the lithography. A nice touch is the gearlever that sprouts from the bootlid. There are 2 forward speeds plus a Stop position.
Measures: 90mm long.
Colour: white and red, wind-up 2 speed clockwork motor.
