The Light tractors. As supplied by Shillans Engineering Co. Ltd. Back to the war era with this old advertisement. The BMB Light tractor was aimed at the farmer and smallholder that needed a lightweight and manouevrable 3hp or 6hp machine. They could be contacted at their Ampton Street offices in London WC1. As with many adverts during the war a young lady is shown doing the kind of work that a fella would have most likely done prior to hostilities. |
