The Car radio. As supplied by E.K. Cole Ltd. Ekco were one of the leading producers of in car radio sets in the 1950s. For instance the CR61 model operates on medium long and seven shortwave bands allowing you to tune in to your favourite international stations. One could also have a set powering 4 extension speakers for the true surround sound feel. Heady stuff for 1949. |
