Most ads in this section at oldclassiccar are for lesser known organisations but I had to include this great old ad for Diesel engined Morris vans and lorries. Poetic licence was clearly displayed here with the tiny driver suggesting that this Morris truck was perhaps larger than it actually was. But this was nothing new and no-one really cared back then about slightly exaggerated advertising claims. This branch of the Nuffield organisation operated from the Adderley Park factory in Birmingham. |
