The Seddon diesel lorries. As supplied by Goddard and Dellar. Goddard and Dellar were the sole distributors for the Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire areas. They sold Seddon lorries from their dealership in North Road Garage at Royston. This ad dates back to WW2. MOWT permits were required if you wanted to buy a brand new lorry during the war. The example here shows signs of being prepared for driving during the black-out - hooded headlights and white painted bumpers. |
