The Wakefield Lubrequipment. As supplied by C.C. Wakefield and Co. Ltd. Wakefield were pushing the Commodore Lubrication Battery to garage owners here in 1949. The Lubrequipment offered a designated bay to deal with all the grease and oil requirements for motorcars that came in for a tuneup. The photo here shows a pre-war Vauxhall receiving a service and lube check at the Chester Engineering Company who used such a lube bay. |
