There is a 1964 Hillman Minx in a scrapyard in Coatbridge. It runs and drives and is saveable. There is a later Minx in a yard in Gartcosh just outside Glasgow but it has been well stripped. _________________ The Clan Chieftain |

Hi
Saw this near Blackburn this morning, original paintwork and upholstery with patina and still working for it's living.
ParkWard sports saloon with divider and picnic tables. I believe it is about '39

I didn't know enough about them to ask that question, but looking at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rolls-Royce_Wraith makes me think it must be because it definitely has a crossflow head and is obviously not a Phantom. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

The pre war Wraiths were far better than the previous models, which were rather old fashioned. The engine was smoother and more powerful and the independent front suspension was a huge improvement.
A good Phantom 3 is pretty amazing if you can afford the £500,000 or so it costs to restore them. It puts some people off. |

Hi
In Nelson today, I know this is a bit recent, but it is the first one I've seen.
They appear to have been home market only so this would be a grey import.
