This one's also (dark) blue (mood indigo). I too had a '73 1250 DL in grasshopper green as my first car back in 1982.
Taking it to Barry Festival of Transport tomorrow - about 20 miles away so will be a nice little run for it. Did a couple of short runs today and all seems well.

I too had an Avenger in 1984 Very Happy well my girlfriend did, she was older than me and had a car Shocked Shocked

A year later I bought an insurance right off Chrysler Sunbeam, it had been nicked, spun;the spin had trashed the gearbox and diff and mangled the n/s bodywork of the car...I fixed all the bodywork and then persuaded my girlfriend to donate the gearbox and diff from her avenger..the avenger was scrapped, and my sunbeam was a great car Very Happy ...and as you will have probably guessed a relationship was broken...(she was a snotty b**ch so nothing lost Very Happy )

I wish I'd never sold that Sunbeam Crying or Very sad

Dave

Thanks for posting the picture. Nice shade of blue - I've put the same wheeltrims on the Super. Back in the day I undersealed the sills on my original Avenger as well.

Yes sorry it's such a grainy photo ~ it was taken on a Kodak Disc Camera
