There has been much said about the 2012 Olympic logo for the London Olympics, it took a top 're-branding' company one year to design and cost £400,000.

As has been mentioned elsewhere it does indeed look like Lisa Simpson..er.blowing on that Saxaphone of hers.

I thought I'd post a couple of alternatives from today's paper, done in moments at a cost of nothing see what you think!

The first one emulates the £400,000 logo (which will now undoubtedly be scrapped) but cost considerably less...£400,000 less to be exact.



This second one has a certain subliminal appeal, I think that anyone thinking of actually visiting London to attend the Olympics might appreciate this one once they are there.

I like the idea that people will be able to relate the graffiti style of the Olympic logo with that seen on walls, underground stations, public toilets, and so on!
