Yes, I'm going to that probably Saturday afternoon, though the forecast is not good so might leave it until Sunday.

Loton is the weekend after, ie 14/15 September

Malpas however is both days this weekend coming up, ie 7th/8th.

Weather forecast proved to be worse than reality, about five minutes of a light shower then fine and blue skies again. Some photos from Saturday afternoon, though I spent more time in the Autojumble than with the vehicles.

Tarmac lorry had a note on the front that apologised for how dirty it was, explaining that it had been at a roadmending job until 9pm the day before.

I think the Road mending job might have been in Stourpaine. Wink

Didn't you get a photo of the best engines there, The Fodens! Wink (Barlows Excepted)

Rick was there Sunday with one of his motor vehicles too. Sure Rick will fill us in.

Cheers

Dave

I did get some more, but I didn't want to post a load of very similar photos. I must admit that much as I like these steamers, I don't know very much (well, OK, anything) about them so tend to just post what comes out as a fairly decent photo. Strong sunlight quite casting heavy shadows put paid to quite a lot unfortunately.

Yes. I'm never sure whether to mention it because the organiser is very stern on having entrants pre-booked, but I believe there's a poster up in the pub now so it's not a secret. July 13th is the date.

Smile ok thanks, I'm surprised I've not had an email off him by now. I'll see about booking, is there anything online to fill in?

By coincidence I've had my booking form this afternoon by email. Let me know if you haven't, I'll forward it. There's no online booking for the event.
