Hi
I can't remember the title, but I have had a book from the library some time ago which had a story about a gale in Milford Haven (could have been a different gale of course) when one Sunderland was saved by the crew being on board started engines and manouevred the aircraft against the wind in the middle of the harbour. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

Lovely aircraft and great story.
I remember when on Honeymoon in New Zealand a few years back we visited the Museum of transport and tech (MOTAT), I was allowed to wander round a hanger where a group of volunteers were restoring one of these great aircraft. |
