Just been given a photo of my great uncle 'Hannes showing great promise as a karter around 1897. The goat has a slightly "Stuffed" look about it and I think I can feel a 'Caprine' version of the 'Dead parrot' sketch coming on.

Great photo pig-tin, it has inspired me to dig into the family album and dig out this 1910 photo of my father, aged four at the time. Obviously a photographer's prop, the family could never afford a toy like that; I wonder if any have survived.
