Coinciding with Drive It Day, yesterday saw the annual Cheshire Run for old lorries take place. As usual, several of us gathered at a garage owned and run by friends of ours locally, to watch the lorries arrive at their half-way halt.

Photos from yesterday:

I suppose, but a) he requested the Morgan (bought from the factory) and b) the J40 is a heavy thing to lug up and down the stairs.

Great array of pics--thanks for posting rick.takes me back many a year--I`d like a tanner for changing an injector for many of the commercials listed, could be subsidising my pension now--hehe.
Drove a scammell ex army breakdown similar to the wrecker listed--no I remember the pain of changing gear with that bl**dy clutch pedal!!
Cheers--ray the rocker.....

It looks fantastic with the weathering, has it been done with paint similar to the way model railways are done or is it real mud, even though probably not from Flanders?

Yes the mud is from the Somme, I added in a photo showing the A4 piece of paper displayed in the cab.
