Hi

Did anyone catch else catch this?

An interesting programme about a pilot who has flown record numbers of different types.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b045pbq2/britains-greatest-pilot-the-extraordinary-story-of-captain-winkle-brown

Lots of different aircraft films, some of which were not ID'd
How many can we name?
I think I spotted a Wyvern and a Welkin .

Penman,

Yes he is an amazing old guy. He said someone analysed his past flight and they reckoned the he should have been killed 13 times. He also survived a torpedo attack and a night in the sea where 22 of his comrades died around him.

Sorry to hear about that, 97 is a good innings though. Only last night I was going through some old books and found a copy of a book he wrote, from the 1980s I think.

A remarkable man whose achievements were largely unrecognised or acknowledged.
