A recent contact sent over a few snapshots, taken at the 1955 salon at Turin.

Included is the following photo, of a car the contact is keen to have identified:

I've not done any research as yet. Pegaso popped into my mind as a possibility, and a later email included photos of Pegasos at the same event.

Can anyone confirm the id of this car?

thanks, RJ

I can't identify that particular exhibit, but I'm pretty sure its a Salmson.

Just received an anonymous email, from someone id'ing it as a Delahaye 235 bodied by Guilluare (more likely Guillore).

Certainly looks like a strong candidate, Chapron did something similar too.

Delahaye is certainly a possibility, but I don't think the coachwork is by Guillore. Coachbuilt.com has an extensive library of Guillore bodies, and there's nothing that looks remotely like this. Given that this is the Turin Show, I wonder whether it may be an Italian coachbuilder?
