Morning all,

I have a soft spot for RMs, and this RME doesn't look like it'd need too much resurrecting to get it back on the road. The interior looks like a fine place to while away the hours in also!

80,000 miles, 10 owners, not used for at least six years but "...wouldn't take a lot to get it running again..." Perhaps not but no mention of the condition of the ash frame and though the upholstery is freshly cleaned, the dashboard looks as though it's suffered from damp.

I still miss mine..... Crying or Very sad

My former neighbour had a 1952/53 RMF, reg no RHN 506 in green.
It was such a good car that it won the RM Club concours in 2001.
I was a passenger in it several times and confirmed for me what fine cars these Rileys are.

His real interest is in pre war cars and in 2003 the car was sold to a Hong Kong collector where it now resides.

The 1.5s are far too heavy for the engine. The 2.5s drive very well but are horribly noisy. Both are designed just like a modern car where you have to disassemble a million other parts to get to the part you need to get to.
