First the mini I have known all my life since it was purchased new by my father and served us as daily transport throughout all his life.
Then I took it over and it ended up in bits and pieces Laughing
However a year after it was back on the road looking (in my opinion) nicer (read sexier) than ever!!!
Here r some pics;\

Your Min popped up on my Facebook feed just now, I thought the reg. looked familiar Smile

I've not been much on the forum lately and even less was my contribution.
Last summer I have added some old tat to the surf blue mini. Below are some pics of how she's looking presently.

Spot what's different from previous photos. Wink

Oh I have another addition to the fleet, had another one in summer, another mini but that got sold a month or so later.

The new addition warrants a new thread though!!

Thanks Rick, the speedwell is a sticker though, I'll fit a badge the day I find an original one since most found for sale are replicas.

Here is the mini I bought in summer, a 1977 mark 4 which originally was a tahiti blue colour but got painted (badly) rat grey with a white roof .
Smile

Had ideas of getting it back to standard since the shell was quite good but then I thought sod it, its just another mini, same year as one of my others and sold it on.
Infact many of the minis I have bought throughout the years have always been either 1976 or 1977 for some reason!

This summer around July, I bought another mini a 1975 mark 3 in need of tlc.
I fancied the set of almost new GBs it had on which are now adorning my surf blue mini together with another addition to it in the form of a rare accessory of the 1960s, a karobes rally seat cover that fits on the standard seats.

The mini purchased got a set of standard steel wheels and got the tlc it needed badly.

How I bought it;

Then after it was finished in original tahiti blue it looked like this (and by this time it was mid November)

It now got sold to a cousin of mine though it is still in my garage awaiting clutch replacement and an oil change.
