But can you identify the mark of this Spitfire? (Without looking at the photo title.)

It puzzled me when I watched one give an aerobatic display.

Is it the "Grace", that started life as a single seat and was later flown by the Free French, hence its livery shown here ?

I would have to cheat to find what MK/version

Thinking about it again. Did you take this stood on a ladder or is it a little small. ?

Ah - it's a scaled down one. Didn't it do a belly landing in the summer due to an absence of wheels?

The Grace one is a genuine two seat trainer. P45 is right that "Spit" in the photo is a scale replica. I was looking for its unreal mark number and yes, I think one did have an undercarriage incident recently.

Interesting that they have given it 6 exhaust ports each side from presumably the V6 option not the earlier 8cyl boxer.

.I think Peter's picture is taken, on the apron at Sywell Northants. 2014 at a guess. I thought all these were being built as single seaters, but this French built one definitely departed with two on board. It was accompanied by a 3/4 scale (I think) Mosquito, also from France. The usual engine is the Jabiru flat 8, from Australia. The one pictured did not have a wheels up landing, as far as I know. That was a British registered one which landed, luckily with little damage at Sibson, Peterborough. It was for sale at the time Sad
Down at Enstone airfield, they are trying to produce a squadron of Mk26.
About one and a half completed yet.

There is also a Jaguar V12 powered scale replica Spitfire:
