I've seen that picture before but it gives me the willies (or possibly Willys) every time I see it.

Makes the recent TG expedition narrow roads seem expansive. Some of these photos are awful though - search on "el caminito del rey" for some worrying sections of path, though it seems they've made it a bit safer now.

And this video of a photographer going the extra mile to get a photo from the top of a tall hotel goes well until about 2m30: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30_b22TVY7s

I love the idea of getting the photos, not quite so sure about the climbing up high stuff to do so. A lot of the "high" sections of various Urban Exploration web sites have some cracking shots.

That looks like the one on TG - I couldn't remember which of the specials it was on.

Frightening roads, those! My own experiences have been nothing like any of them, but working at gorse spraying on New Zealand farms in the 1960's had me driving on some narrow tracks. Unfortunately, as the driver, I never managed to get out to take photos (there wasn't enough room!).

This photo was taken from the cab of my truck. The track that I am driving on is just a foot wider than the truck. You can see two other trucks and the Land Rover below on a much wider track.

Here I am crossing much more level countryside.

Those 'roads' were a lot of fun after rain, when even with four wheel chains on, the truck would slide away down the track.
