Why have a Garden Gnome when one can have a genuine Hawker Hunter in the yard.

Comes with detachable wings and an imitation pilot. Engine not included and it doesn't look if there is a speedometer or clock.

It didn't sell at the auction on the 2nd March, I don't know why ?

A Honda 70 for £2200 ? but that didn't go either.

My favourite story relates to when I lived in Leicester. Overnight, all his garden gnomes disappeared. He reported it to the police, but nothing was found. Three weeks later he got up to see all his gnomes had returned and that they were all well-tanned. There was a thank you card saying "thanks for the holiday"!

Hi
When I saw the title to the thread my first thought was a BS Gnome turbine engine or possibly an early 20thC rotary Gnome.
The latter of course could be sold to SWMBO as a means of turning a rotary washing line. Laughing Laughing Laughing and the former would make a good snow blower. Laughing Laughing Laughing

No! Shocked
It's a Gnome radial engine!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rotary_engine

I just tried to watch the elicit copy I made of "Amelie" some years ago on DVD and it no longer plays! Embarassed

Had to buy a copy on eBay. Essential archive material.

Well I think that's two Peters that would say so. It's a great story and a visual feast.
