Hi Does anyone know if there is much difference between the speedo drives on a 1725 gearbox and a 1600 gearbox and are they interchangeable ? My super minx mk2 has a 1725 engine , I have changed the speedo as the original didnt work but it reads a lot out, like 30mph is 50mph on the speedo ! I am considering have the speedo recalibrated buts its quite a bit of money !

I think the speedometer will have a turns/mile calibration on it. This one reads 1040. Compare your old speedo with the replacement.
