One day I shall replace the carpets in my 1933 Lagonda and part of the fun is researching what it would have had originally. I can't imagine it would have been the ubiquitous Wilton although it does look nice. Some research on the internet suggests it may ave been a trade marked carpet called Karvel but who knows? Has anyone got original examples of carpet in the mid-30s cars, and what does the carpet look like?
Thoughts anyone? |

Being the Lagonda was a quality car along with Bently I would be surprised if it wasn't originally fitted with either Wilton or Axminster carpets. _________________ old tourer
