The Viking Run is a US car meeting that is held every two years in Roskilde, Denmark. Always a good event.

Check out this link for photos from previous years.

I wonder if any of the other drivers of US iron on this forum, or even any other forum members will dare to go? Very Happy

Well, it does seem like very few british classic car owners actually take their car out of the British Isles, or am I wrong?

How many classics on this forum have been on ferries to the continent, for example?

Hi

My problem is not taking the car abroad, I am not keen on boats, can't swim, and get real sick, when you get on a ferry, start feeling ill, you have no option, but to feel ill for hours, has no up sides to me. I would send the car over and then fly over myself picking the car up the other side, if I realy needed to, but it seems like alot of bother, and the other option the tunnel, sounds very expensive, and being under a sea of water, does not fill me with enjoyment!

Cheers

You would have a lot of fun with your E83W going on the train through the tunnel, believe you me....

I wonder why others dont take them abroad though. As far as I can remember, there are only two on the forum that have mentioned this...think I'll start a new topic.....

Hi

Why do you say that?

Perhaps I should plan a trip!

My sister has been on the tunnel train.

Cheers

a pal of mine years ago took his upright Prefect on a tour of Germany and France, seemed like those on board had an eventful time, if not wholly reliable..
