Hi,

Having given up queueing to enter the planned-for show at Stoneleigh, the decision was taken to head over to Gaydon, to visit the British Motor Museum. I've been a few times in the past, prior to the museum's re-branding as BMM, so this seemed like a good opportunity to catch up with the altered setup.

Quite a few of the cars I'd seen before, others were new, and a few that I'd remembered seeing had vanished - only to pop again in the new (to me) reserve collection building, also at Gaydon. Photos from the reserve collection, and the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust's own collection which occupies the same building, will be added in separately.

The photos aren't the best I'm afraid - my camera doesn't always get on with interior lighting all that well - but hopefully they'll give a good flavour of what's on display. It's well worth a visit IMO.

Photos of the reserve collection at Gaydon can now be found in this thread: http://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/forum/phpbb/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=19270.

Lots of familiar 'faces' there Rick but enough new ones to make a return visit worthwhile - thanks for posting.

Glad you liked them, make sure you factor in time to view the reserve collection too - photos to follow - it's quite amazing how many one-off and end-of-the-line cars survive.
