I am in the process of restoring my Thames 4D lorry and have got to do something with the windscreen frames. I will not be an easy job but I cannot find any replacements. I have seen a few pictures of vehicles where the screen has been fitted just a rubber section and not the metal frames, has anyone on here done that. I cannot see how the rubber can be held in the cab opening unless they glue them in, any ideas? |

Yes I have the old frames , they might have to go back in for the time being. I don't want to separate the two part frames just yet as I won't have time to do much with them until the winter. Until I do start I cannot really see just what section each part is but it certainly will not be a quick fix. |
