Hi Rick,

I hope you don't mind me raising this again, however I think it might be worth revisiting again.

The "View New Posts" facility was removed a while ago, however over the months its been gone I've come to the conclusion that it is limiting my fullest participation on the site, and perhaps is doing the same with other members.
My thoughts are when I open the main page I've then got to look for the forums where new posts have been posted, then enter each forum in turn and then open the thread in question, whereas with the View New Posts all I would do was work my way done the list and view them all. The point I'm driving at is those who don't have the time to individually check out each forum / thread in turn I'm sure is limiting the fullest exposure of all the excellent input the members here submit.

Is there any possibility of re-introducing this useful facility?

I still think it is on, I still get the facility, but some posts are not picked up by it, I noticed a few that I had missed yesterday that were posted towards the end of last month. I found your post by seeing the image being orange though.

I've re-included the old links, I don't think I made any other changes so hopefully they'll work as before. There was a reason for removing these links, but they can stay for the forseeable I think!

The orange marker comes up for me and it always takes me to the correct page when there is a multi-page topic, but it always takes me to the top of that page, not down to the actual new post.
I know that feature works on other forums using the same phpBB boards.
