Morning all,

Whether this very tidy 4/50 will creep much above its current £2k(ish) in the final four days of the auction, I don't know. It looks to be basically a very sound car with a cracking interior, needing a few cosmetics & minor fettling - including a more appropriate set of numberplates!!!!

Nice, I would love one of these, I have a soft spot for the Wolseley marque.

That 4/50 will be a good buy for someone. These 1950s Wolseleys look great.
I note that this one was originally registered in Bootle if the HWM number is the original.

Coincidentally, there's another 4/50 for sale on Ebay although not in quite the same condition. That one has a non transferrable *KB registration therefore from Liverpool originally.

If I could remember how to post an Ebay link, I would.

It is not that difficult. Open up another browser screen and get the Ebay ad up. Click on the URL which then highlights up. Press Control-C. Move to the Old Classic Car forum reply, and press Control-V. If you want to show it as a clickable link, select/highlight the complete URL and press the URL link box.

I noticed the reg too, as normally modern plastic plates on an old motor shout "I've had my original plate robbed" so I checked it out on the WM section of the registration guide on the oldclassiccar main page.

It says Southport B.C, April 1952-October 1953, so is, surprisingly, original.
