What are the differences between the c40 and c45 dynamos. I can find lots of parts and info for the 40 but very little for the 45 |

C40 is 4" diameter C45 4.5", I think the outputs are slightly different C40 22A, C45 25A

Thanks how does the 45 gain the extra amps. As there is no specific C45 could or armature I can find? |

You can get 30A easily out of a C45 if the correct regulator is used. The windings are more substantial and its extra bulk allows more cooling. Straight fit too _________________ Rover P2
