Very interesting viewing, not just the on-board footage of the engine packing up and landing in a field near Duxford, but also the discussion afterwards about dealing with such a situation.

Yes, indeed. Very interesting analysis. Puting aside the ape and the choice of landing with undercarriage up. I wonder if the undercarriage would have responded if the prop had stopped turning?

Thanks for that amazing clip. A remarkable pilot who not only landed safely, but could discuss the things he did right and also the things he felt he did wrong for the benefit of other pilots.
