I am a lover of cars in general. Although I worship my 1954 A30, here is my other passion. Purchased this year is my Fiat 124 Spider. Looks beautiful and is seriously quick

Great looking vehicle the only problem is the pictue is huge! I couldn't see it all in one go.

Cheers, Tony.

You can 'shrink' a large image such as this one by selecting 'open in a new page.'
On a Mac, two-finger click and select. This way you can see any picture on one page; useful for this website!

Hi Simon,

As you are using imgur you can set your preferences to automatically resize your photos when you copy them to imgur.

Hit your login name in the top right corner and you will see a drop down choice Auto resize list. I would suggest 800 x 600.

I quite like the look of the new 124, partly because I quite liked the look of the original one. Isn't it very similar running gear to the current MX-5?

I would be interested in seeing the A30. As a good entry level car (when they were becoming obsolete) for drivers like me who wanted an old looking car but needed something more practical than a Ruby.

I had an A2S4 dating to 1956.

The A30/35 range is now a good entry level classic car - although there are many owners who wouldn't swap their cars for all the tea in China.

There are several different models and it is always fun to be able to differentiate between them. Unlike the original Austin Seven this later "Seven" has only a few models.

(You really need to be a walking encyclopaedia to know all the old Austin 7 models from '22 to '39 Confused )
