What is the correct coolant that should be used in a hillnan imp 875 engine ?

You need one of the so called 'NAP-free' coolants that were introduced in the 1980s. Based on established silicate technology but free from nitrite, amine and phosphate, they were designed to provide better corrosion protection for a wider range of engine metals, particularly aluminium alloys, available at most motorist stores such as Halfords.
