I'd put a picture up, but Flickr won't let me even though I haven't reached anywhere near the free limit. But have you seen the new magazine that has just launched? Led by David Lillywhite, he who started Octane, it is called Magneto. I received a complimentary copy of #1, and it is well researched and written, if somewhat highbrow. And since it will be quarterly, it may well avoid regurgitating the same things all the time.

I received a copy too although I've yet to look at it.

It looks like it could be interesting, but at over £10 on subscription only it's going to have a very limited market.

It appears that the print Autosport magazine is heading for the chop.

Latest is that the cover price for the weekly printed mag is being hiked to £10.99, presumably in a bid to kill it off that way rather than just by pulling the plug straightaway.

Plus who in their right mind would pay to advertise in it?

I'm sure that the original owner of big Dodge, who was one of the mag's founders (and bankrolled its creation) is looking down with great interest.

Curiously Autosport has now announced that the price will be dropping back to where it was before all the silliness, ie £3.99
