Yes, thought they were going for the meet due to the amount of them.

Out today, I saw a smart Model Y saloon, and a Chummy, being towed on trailers. Also a fine vintage Talbot, 105 I think, being driven on the motorway. Two Routemasters were also seen, on wedding duties, plus competition prep'd MGBs being trailered to a meeting somewhere. Two Sunbeam Alpines were also spotted heading in the opposite direction on the m'way.

A steam traction engine went past the house this evening too, so quite a variety. It was also neat to see one of the BA 747s in retro livery flying over.

I saw a blue Rochdale this morning, looked very clean. (I didn't know what it was, just had to remember the registration and look it up).

I almost forgot, on the way home yesterday I saw a very clean-looking Bedford CF ice cream van, in an appropriate cream / beige colour. No writing on it, which is unusual, perhaps that's the next job.

On my drive in this morning I passed a very nice two-tone Sunbeam Talbot 90 then on the A303 a truck passed on the other carriageway carrying a nice green Ford Model A coupe up on the back.

Funny you say that as earlier today I was browsing the Ebay USA ads for old LHD cars and came across this very rare LHD one:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/303227440190

Quote from the ad:
Quote:
CAR IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION

Err.... looking at the broken plastics (center and rim) on the steering wheel, the amount of rust in the lower doors, the missing chrome strips all round, the re-upholstered seats (vinyl instead of leather) and door panels to a different pattern, the cheap looking carpet, you cannot call that VERY GOOD CONDITION.
I think this car was restored many years ago and got worse over time. Owner probably died or lost interest.

I've been on a trip to visit family and saw many interesting things, but as ever had no camera on me. The one that stood out for me was a white or cream coloured MGB roadster... with two canoes strapped to the roof! It was only on Saturday but now I can't even remember which county I spotted it in - might have been Radnor, Salop, Stafford or Derbyshire...

That's been bugging me since sometime this morning... it was of course an MGB GT I saw with canoes strapped to the roof, why I typed roadster I have no idea. I guess that's what happens when you post late at night after a long journey and long day before it, but it could have been worse - I could have told my boss what I really think... Twisted Evil
