A rival to the Model T back in the day, at least that was the ambition, but few of these must still be around. I wonder how big a nightmare finding parts for one of these would be, or is the running gear lifted from something else perhaps?

It looks as if Gray based their engine design very closely to the Model T. Look at the stud pattern.

I believe that very few Grays have survived, but then there were not huge numbers produced.

IIRC the main executive of the company had been an executive in the Ford company, and several employees had move from Fords.

My friend is heavily into early Fordson tractors having in total about twenty,
ranging from the early twenties to the fifties, the engine in the first picture is
almost identical to that in his Forson model N of the late thirties, an engine
based on the Ford model A and fitted with a water pump.
