Ah, the memories! I lived in Portsmouth at the time and a friend had a poodle. He took it to shop at Waterlooville for its wash and brush up, and when he went back to collect it out they came with not the normal size poodle but one of the big standard poodles. Naturally they hung him out to dry, saying that it must be his because all the other dogs had been taken by their owners. There were quita a number of bleeps in the programme I can tell you! Of course, in the end it all ended happily, but he got quite a roasting in the pub. |
