I’ve just found a gutted old 10/6. Seems to have the motor, maybe not the head, haven’t seen pics of a gearbox so god only knows if that’s there..... how interchangeable are other parts like the gearbox? Assuming I can find a head that is. The interior is gutted so that would be a build from scratch.
It’s a 1934 apparently, how rare are they?

The Morris 10/6 would be one of the rarer Morris 's , most parts (other than the engine) I believe are the same as the 10/4 and 12/4 of the same year.

It sounds like an interesting find, is it like this one shown on the main site?

Yea looks just like that Rick. There’s another guy going to look at it today (I only saw the add for it last night) if he doesn’t buy it the owner will let me know. I fear because most of its not there it may be hotrodded if I can’t buy it. New Zealand has to many people who would put a small block in it instead of restoring 😒 anyway here’s hoping 🤞

Unfortunately the other guy who got in first has bought this car. I only hope he intends to restore it not horrid it. Would have been a beautiful car but oh well. Guess I should poor the passion I was feeling towards a new project into the Austin 10 that’s on blocks in the far side of the garage - that is after I’ve worked out why my morris 8 was flat when I went to take my daughters for a drive this morning... 🙄
