Such good photos and superb memories. It is so important to keep records of who and when the photos were taken etc. I see so many photos on ebay and the like that have no story and it seems such a shame. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

Great photos. Makes one wonder how many of the digital family photos will be around in 80 years. Most of mine (old and new) are on the cloud and the family have access. Do many people do this ?
Thanks for posting the photos. |

Thanks for the replies guys- they sure brought a smile to me.
My grandpap used to tell me all the time to save my money and buy a farm some day.
I followed his advice and bought 13 acres in 1975.
Just a hobby farm
cheers

Reminds me of the Texan who, when visiting England, asked a framer how many acres he had. The farmer replied "200". "Geeeez" said the Texan, "it takes me all day just to drive around half of mine"
"Yes" replied the English farmer, "I used to have a car like that once !" |

Hello Hank.
I am pretty sure the car is a 1930 Willys Overland Whippet. |
