Having enjoyed pre war caravans for the past couple of decades I have decided it’s time for a change. I am now actively seeking a Willerby Vogue that is in a reasonable ‘use as’ condition. Should you happen to learn of one for sale, please be so kind to advise.
I do currently enjoy a ‘Car Cruiser’ type 3 of 1934 vintage and this will be for sale once I have purchased the Willerby.

I have little idea of the current value of a reasonable Willerby Vogue, anyone care to advise? Smile

Still looking!

Old Iron
I wonder if you can help me?
I have a pre war trailer 1930's we believe?
Its fitted with what we think are Morris Minor spoked wheels, I wondered what did caravan of that era fit?
I am also looking for any info or scans of catalogues or adverts if you know of any showing Gibson Eccles trailers?
Thanks

Hi winchman, mainly caravans would have been using other artillery spoked wheels or, as is on my current caravan, solid ‘Dunlop’ wheels.

Any help with the Gibson trailer question directly, try contacting those on the historic caravan club website, some very knowledgable folk in that club.

I recently rescued an original Eccles trailer - complete with period sales catalogue. There are some references to these on the main site already, scroll down on https://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/trailers.htm
