A nice find here: 2 packs of sealed writing paper and envelopes, "exclusively designed for Land Rover Owner Magazine."
They were hidden away at the back of a vintage shop in Ramsey. I couldn't resist opening one, and will keep the other one sealed. As promised, it's quality paper!
I've not been able to track down its age or any other information so far.

The Series One Land Rover was produced from 1948 until 1951 but presumably this was made much later. From the style I'd guess early 1960's but that could be completely wrong. The only clue is on the back:
"Printed by Countryside Art. Lincs, England.

Looking at the font they've used I'd guess at the 1980s. The first issue of LRO was in July 1987, apparently.

I sent an email to Countryside Art, the company named as the printer, and amazingly I've had a reply from them less than 24 hours later with further information and art work. I'm just waiting to hear whether it's OK to share it here. What nice people!

Yes, it's OK to post the information and the images from Countryside Art here.

Thanks to Paul, the Sales Manager.
What a great guy to take the time to dig out the art work.

"Thank you for your email and image enquiry. I have trawled back into our archives and had a chat to our paper division, and they found the archived designs. They are not quite vintage but manufactured in May 1990 and 1991.

There were three designs in total and I have attached a PDF showing the three designs. We are trying to locate who we made them for, but I'm assuming it is the Owners Club.

Hope this helps.

Kind Regards

Frankly I cringe with this sort of stuff! Unless you are writing as behalf of the Land Rover Club , why would this be of interest ?
