Slightly off topic, but has anyone seen the government list of "key workers" during the coronavirus panic? It includes "those responsible for the management of the deceased". What was wrong with "undertakers" or "funeral directors", for heaven's sake? Even if you included all the allied trades like gravediggers it would still come to fewer words than "those responsible for the management of the deceased".

I swear these people get bonuses for confusing the public by using 20 words where one would do... Laughing

Drive to the horizon. I know some one with a VW Golf hybrid which does about 25 miles on a full charge before the engine cuts in. It uses more fuel than his old VW Golf diesel did.

All the people I work with take the MPG figures calculated by their car's on board computer as gospel without bothering to check it manually between fill ups. I suspect they would be in for a surprise if they did bother to check...
