Hi chaps,
Did a big brake job A7 Special to, at last, get the Morris Minor brake conversions working well.
I don't dare tell you how much money and time I spent, but I managed to overlook what seems obvious now. The brake hoses. I bought them at an autojumble and they haven't been changed since I built the car 21 years ago.

I cannot remember which car they came from, I think it was some sort of Triumph.
They need to be about 12" long and I'm hoping standard Minor ones will fit.
Please, can someone tell me how long a later type Morris Minor front flexible hose is?

Regards.

The Lockheed manual I have does not go back further than 1935. The Morris 8 and MG cars of late 30's used Lockheed part number 23726 12 1/2" long. Don't forget Lockheed equipment has USA threads in this case 11/16" ANFS X 16 TPI

Just to add, good to see you around these parts Pigtin (Don)!

A series of Pigtin's/Don's motoring recollections have been on the main site for quite a few years now, and are an entertaining read. Visit https://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/motoringmemories.htm and scroll part way down, in the central column, to see the links to them.
