I watched this film on Talking Pictures this morning.
"Jet Storm, 1959. Drama. Directed by Cy Endfield. Starring Richard Attenborough, Stanley Baker, Hermione Baddeley & Diane Cilento. A man who lost his daughter in a hit-&-Run accident tracks the man responsible."

The thing that caught my attention was the aircraft.

In the film it also had a lower deck with a bar. Fiction in reality but I'd not seen this aircraft before. Without looking it up (which I have done) do you recognise it?

I keep seeing that in the listings, but whenever I check the write-up it doesn't really grab me all that much. Had I known there was a TU104 in it .... the old Russian stuff is fabulous. I remember the later TU134s and 154s going into Manchester when I was a planespotter, with the glass noses on the former.

The film is virtually all contained within the cabin. It does have some suspense if you haven't seen it before. Star studded cast.
