Now that is a rare piece of motoring history. The use by the WVS also makes this a very interesting vehicle.

The price is creeping up (it finishes tonight), already £3500 but will it do better?

I wouldn't be surprised to see the final buyer keep their powder dry until the last few seconds. I could never see the merit in starting to bid days before. I guess time will tell.

I wouldn't bid till the last minute, whats the point in pushing the price up 2 or 3 days before the auction finishes. Unless you stick in your maximum proxy bid.

I watched it while waiting for some caulking to dry. (what did you do in COVID-19 grandad)….. You don't think it would appear as a sibling to "Commer" & "Big Dodge" ? Smile

Smile the thought might have crossed my mind, but common sense prevailed (must be an age thing), plus as lowdrag pointed out the other day, my progress with existing things isn't all it might be.

Its always nice to see vehicles like this and I like to follow them on ebay.

Space and money are dictating things to me now, I also have plenty to do on the vehicles I have.

Although, saying that if something very rare from the Commer or Hillman family came available knowing me I would probably try to find some room for it...

She is often shown with an Austin K2 Ambulance. The same as used in the film Ice Cold in Alex.
