I wonder what the mistake was? He withdrew the lot from sale and I assume never reposted it. By the way, I have to laugh. Underneath is the advisory "Will post to France"! |

Not the first seller then to have problems with Ebay.
I needed a piece of carpet and found a seller through Ebay. Because I needed something that was not available in his Ebay shop we moved our correspondence outside Ebay. Having an Ebay shop he was not very enthusiastic about Ebay as he explained in an email to me :
Knowing how underhanded and dirty eBay have become since 2016, the promises they never kept, the lies, the rudeness, being told to F OFF by senior management, (I can give you a name a time and a date for that one), the total disregard for sellers wellbeing, the automation of software that has closed my account for no fault of my own, and keeps getting it wrong, which cost me tens of thousands in lost income and many months of recovery time and work to undo the damage they caused... And of course zero apology from eBay.
Then there is the software that marks your products as not selling, when they were, till they marked it, which they refuse to do anything about, because they don't see it as a problem me paying for full-service and only getting half, the ghost adverts, the goalpost moving, the total lack of empathy, the buttons for buyer to press that destroy our DSR ratings, again no fault of our own and we never get told till it's too late.
... And don't get me started on the automated overly monitored message service, and all of the message boxes which are solely designed to drive us sellers mental… They force you to use the worse software on the planet and every update makes it harder to use. But it's the button surrounding that message service that causes most of the problems but that's for another essay.
As far as I'm concerned, all of the above is put in place to increase their fees intake, I know how horrible this company can be and what lengths they go to.
This has taken me over 2 hours to write because each time I keep thinking about eBay another 6 paragraphs appear, but I won't add any more.
I reiterate, eBay was once an awesome company to work with, shame the shareholders took over and completely ruined it and turned it into a fee collection agency. _________________ a car stops being fun when it becomes an investment |
