I saw a white Triumph 2000/2500 with a dark-coloured roof. Hard to tell exactly because the sun was directly in front of me, so it's also not worth checking the dash-cam footage for a photo.

Light blue Cortina 1600E, looked pretty original with the paint quite faded and a little while after we saw a very tidy red Escort XR3i.

Both out in the Sunday sunshine through the village.

Hi
Out and about today.
A red Herald convertible and a powder blue Moggie 1000 in Huddersfield, then a red TR 5 or 6 Heading SE on the A623 between Chapel-en-le-Frith and Chatsworth, a mid blue Granada Ghia X on a Y suffix in Marple and a red Guila (the boxy type) in Heywood.

Hi
Something i forgot to mention yesterday.
At the top of Woodhead there was a modern caravan around 60 -100yds off the road lying on it's roof.
No obvious sign as to how it got there, so I suppose someone must have tried to do the trip when there was a gale blowing.

They probably saw the storm coming and thought "Oh it'll just blow over."

A couple of times this week I've seen a two-tone blue Vauxhall drive by, probably a Victor FB - today it was chucking it down when I saw it, I hope the owner's had the underside coated in oily-ness.

Yes, one would have thought that Vauxhall would have learned their lesson from the dreadful rust issues with the FA. The early Victors (and Crestas) were, in my opinion, some of the most attractive designs but they quickly earned a reputation for being rust buckets.

The beautiful new sky blue one that my Dad bought lasted just three years before it fell to bits. Sad

Is it a mid-blue, with a darker blue roof? I've seen one locally in that colour scheme.

An immaculate early Rover P6 in dark green just went by, possibly a V8. Shame the roads are so mucky.

Which do you think feels the best in operation and/or is better in appearance? The pull handle or the push button handles?

Here's the early Metro I saw the other day. The wheels are later temporary replacements. The owner's mum bought it when it was about 12 months old. Apart from the front wings, it's pretty much original.
