Some lovely lots included in the sale, if only we had the money and space. I particularly like the 37 Standard Flying 9, condition would be just right for us!

The Standard Flying 9 made £1900, not bad really. Another nice one was a barn find Austin 7 Ruby, it finished at £2400.

Friends of mine went to view the Standard and the Ruby today, with a view to bidding, both were very very poor by their accounts. The Std had major holes on the bulkhead and it was all very sad, so they didn't bother bidding. The A7 was too dog-eared for them also (and they like their barn finds!).

Just goes to show what a first hand inpection has over just viewing some photos. From the pics I thought they both looked nice projects.
