Thanks I'll pass on your comments, he did spend an age getting the Lego men's footsteps right.

Hi
I would hazard a guess that the second picnic picture (the one you have used in the post above) was taken in Cheddar Gorge. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

You make a most enjoyable video, Rick.
Those seat covers are the same as the ones that were fitted to my 1958 Austin Cambridge when I got it. When I took them off, the seats had been protected but were covered in dust. I would remove the covers and clean them - and the seats - before replacing because there is a risk that grit could damage the leather stitching.
The Swiss spark plug you found ties up nicely with the flag in the windscreen. I imagine it was bought while the car was on that foreign holiday you mentioned.
I can't believe cars like that are still being unearthed! |

I'm certainly looking forward to seeing what the seats look like, beneath the covers. If they're good I'll probably leave them like that, but if they're poor, the covers will go back - it depends on what I find really. Good point re the spark plug, I'd not thought of that. These cars are still out there, I do have a further confession to make, but not right now...
