I was bench testing to see if my NOS starter motor was working by attaching a pair of jump leads to it. Sparks ensued, but turning didn't.
I wondered if the jump leads were duff, so I tested the battery....13.9 volts.
So I connected my multimeter to the ends of the jump leads.....15.9 volts!
Huh??
Something odd is occurring in Sid's man cave.
Any ideas? (Electrickery has never been my strong suit)
