This photo came up on a Barnsley, Yorkshire "Old Photos" FB page.
It is suggested that this vehicle was seen on display in the town's Austin/Morris dealers during the early 70's.
I haven't seen it before. A quick "Google" found nothing.

Judging by the two roof vents, and the visible grille on one of them, two vans were sacrificed for the job. Interesting! The exhaust on the right perhaps gives a clue as to which direction it could drive in.

Here's another quite famous PMPY car. It belongs to The Wizard of Christchurch NZ. He's a rather eccentric character, whom I've had the pleasure of listening to, who drives around in this VW (or should I say "these VWs")
