Followed a lovely Lanchester Eleven home tonight, it was motoring on and certainly didnt brake for any village 30mph limits!!
Nice to see such a car out in the spring sunshine. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

I saw a white Triumph 2000 or 2500 yesterday, with a black-painted roof. _________________ 1976 Vauxhall HP Firenza, 1976 Vauxhall Sportshatch (x2), 1986 Audi coupe quattro, 2000 Audi TT |

Something small and sporty heading the opposite way along the Blackwood bypass this evening. It was getting dark and I didn't get a good look at it, but the shape, size and sound suggested later Spitfire to me - it certainly wasn't anything modern going by the size.
Also seen a maroon coloured Austin 7 trundling around the Blackwood area a couple of times recently. Not a minter but tidy enough, the sort of car you wouldn't be afraid to drive and enjoy. |

First proper trip out the village other than going to work today. We stayed local but went into Wells for a wander round in the sunshine.
We spotted plenty out and about in the sunshine, a red MGB in the car park, then a Morris traveller and an A40 Farina on the drive home.
Also saw a couple of nice old motorbikes out too. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

Out for a walk on Hastings seafront today, an immaculate Mk1 Mini stopped at the lights for me to cross the road. A pale metallic green mk1 Capri went past and a split screen VW camper, both also immaculate! |

I saw a Sinclair C5 going down the road yesterday, the only one I’ve ever seen being used on the road. It was going at a decent pace so I suspect it may have had a more modern motor and battery. I don’t know how fast the original C5 went but the chap on a bicycle following was having a hard job keeping up. _________________ old tourer
